Je ne sais pas s'il est humainement possible de prononcer un texte plus grave et plus lentement.

J'avais toujours trouvé ce groupe un peu surfait – jusqu'à les voir en concert. Tout le monde s'était assis de façon spontanée et j'étais ressorti avec cette sensation d'avoir fait une rencontre divine (l'effet basse / absence de basse sans doute). Assez incroyable, je serais prêt à faire pas mal de kilomètres pour reprendre ma dose revivre ça.

J'ai toujours eu un peu de mal avec Sunn O))) je sais pas si c'est le style voir autre chose mais y'a quelque chose qui passe pas. Après je peux concevoir totalement qu'on peu aimer

Ce morceau … surtout à partir de 4:25, ça me fout des frissons à chaque fois !

Ben des groupes comme Sunn O))) (ou Earth), non seulement c'est très bizarre à écouter, mais en plus ça n'a pas du tout le même rendu en concert et chez soi (ou alors il faut être en rase campagne, ou se faire haïr par ses voisins). Mais c'est clairement pas le genre de musique que j'écouterais en boucle.

Tout à fait. Après ça reste un groupe culte et c'est à voir en live. C'était assez surprenant comme ambiance et je rejoins l'avis de adndebanane quand il dit avoir fait une "rencontre divine".

Et on reste dans le joyeux (mais en mode heavy / death metal) avec cette chanson de Sentenced :

Un groupe joyeux, puisque sur le même album on trouve Excuse Me While I Kill Myself, et qu'ils sont à l'origine du plus connu Killing Me, Killing You.

On change totalement de registre. Direction les films d'animations avec un des films les plus sous-estimés de Disney qui pourtant transmet un très beau message.

Connaissez-vous le Tolkien metal ? Certains groupes basent leurs textes exclusivement, ou presque, sur les œuvres de J. R. R. Tolkien. Souvent, c'est du folk metal ; ici par exemple avec Battlelore :

Très bon groupe en effet.

Pour rester dans le style de Tolkien, voici peut-être le groupe dont j'attend les nouveaux albums avec le plus d'impatience.

Chaque album est meilleur que le précédent mais restent dans un savoir faire et une admiration de l'oeuvre de Tolkien toujours au plus haut. Un groupe qui vous ferra voyager pour autant que vous soyez réceptif à leur style.

J'ai choisi ici de vous partager ma chanson préférée de leur dernier album en date, Old Mornings Dawn, Caradhras. Vous savez, ce col que traverse la communauté pour rejoindre les mines de la Moria et dont le Silberhorn a inspirer Tolkien pour la création d'un des 3 sommets surplombant la Moria.

Une fois n'est pas costume, pour obtenir la musique que j'écoute en ce moment, il vous faudra cliquer : c'est Square Hammer de Ghost, un extrait en avant-première de leur prochain EP.

La chanson est du Ghost, assez classique dans la tendance orientée pop. J'espère que l'EP (et le probable album qui suivra) sera un peu plus inventif.

Il vas être difficile de faire mieux que Meliora comme album même si on est pas à l'abri d'une bonne surprise.

eptite apparté non-métallique: petit festival sympa cette semaine vers chez moi. et comme je suis dans une phase où je me hype tout seul pour ce festival et que je trouve ça vraiment égoïste, bah je vous en partage un bout:

Un album très joyeux sur toute sa longueur hormis les 3 derniers titres plus mélancolique. À consommer sans modération.
